Any program capable of playing an MP3 file would work, so you do not need iTunes. What Operating System does your computer use? Linux has several programs that would work. OS X has iTunes as well as other programs that you could use. If you are plagued by Windows then you could use Windows Media Player. Right click on the program that you want to download and choose to download the linked file or target file and try any program that you choose after the download is complete.
